2. Satya : Truthfulness – Embrace Your Reality

Your truth is unique, and so is everyone else’s. Respecting your truth while acknowledging others’ perspectives creates a harmonious environment where authenticity flourishes.

4. Brahmacharya – Living a Divine Life

Brahmacharya is often misunderstood as celibacy in reality, it is a broader concept – it means non indulgence, another meaning of this also is living a life of divine expansion. It involves transmuting energy from the base chakra to the higher centres by offering gratitude to existence. Gratitude is the KEY to the life of brahmacharya. By practising brahmacharya, we elevate ourselves from misery to bliss.

5. Aparigraha : Non Possessiveness – The Art of Sharing

The final is non possessiveness, urging us to let go of the miserly tendency to hoard. Instead, we are invited to share our love, wisdom, and possessions generously. In sharing, we find abundance, breaking free from the chains of mind. Whatever we have in life, let’s be thankful for it, and not to take anything for granted, and when it changes, this will lead towards this final Yama.

Practice: Share something for the world benefit, whether it’s knowledge, a skill, or even a material possession. Embrace the joy of giving without expecting anything in return. This simple act opens the path to abundance.
